Why Do So Many Women Feel Like They’re Constantly Starting Again on Monday?
This Monday will be different.... Sound familiar?!
Maybe you’ve said it to yourself after a weekend of social events, a takeaway, a few too many glasses of wine or simply a week where life got in the way.
You start Monday full of good intentions.

Breakfast is healthy.
Lunch is planned.
You drink more water.
You feel motivated.....then life happens!
A stressful day at work.
A family celebration.
Someone brings cake to the staff room.
A holiday.
Your friend suggests a takeaway.
A busy week where everyone else’s needs seem to come before your own.
Before you know it, you’re feeling frustrated, disappointed and promising yourself that you’ll start again next Monday.
Maybe you even decide it's worth eating and drinking ALL the 'bad' things in the house to make sure Monday is an easier, fresh start.
I’ve lost count of the number of women I’ve spoken to who feel trapped in this cycle. The truth is, the problem usually isn’t a lack of knowledge. Most people already know that eating more vegetables is a good idea. They know they should probably move a little more. They know that getting enough sleep matters. The problem isn’t knowing what to do. The problem is doing it consistently when life isn’t perfect.
The Myth of Motivation
Many people believe they just need more motivation. But motivation is unreliable.
Some days we wake up feeling focused and energised. Other days we’re tired, stressed and overwhelmed.
If your health depends on feeling motivated every day, you’re likely to spend a lot of time starting over. Real, lasting change comes from creating habits that work even when motivation is low. It comes from learning how to both navigate and ENJOY weekends, holidays, celebrations, stressful moments and busy periods without feeling like you’ve failed.
The All-or-Nothing Trap

One of the biggest barriers to success is all-or-nothing thinking. You have one takeaway and convince yourself the day is ruined. You enjoy a meal out and decide you’ll start again on Monday. You have a less healthy weekend and tell yourself you'll be 'good' next week.
But health isn’t built on perfection. It’s built on the small choices we make consistently over time.
A less healthy meal, day or weekend doesn't mean you've failed. Equally, it doesn't mean that these choices don't matter.
The key is learning how to enjoy life's treats, celebrations and holidays without letting them become a reason to abandon the habits which help you feel your best.
The women who make the greatest long term progress aren't perfect. They're the ones who learn how to get back on track with their very next choice, rather than waiting until Monday.
What Actually Creates Change?

In my experience, lasting change comes from three things:
Support.
Accountability.
Consistency.
Not restriction. Not guilt. Not another diet.
Support helps you stay focused when life gets busy.
Accountability helps you keep moving forward even when motivation fades.
Consistency helps you build habits that become part of your lifestyle rather than another short-term fix.
Why I Created The Ultimate Health Collective
Over the years, I realised that most women didn’t need another meal plan. They didn’t need someone to tell them that vegetables are healthy or that they should drink more water. What they needed was support.
A place where they could learn.
A place where they could ask questions.
A place where they could celebrate wins and navigate challenges without judgement.
A place where they didn’t have to do it alone.
That’s why I created the Ultimate Health Collective. A supportive community focused on helping women improve their health, energy and wellbeing through simple, sustainable habits that fit into real life.
Imagine never having to start again on Monday
Imagine approaching a weekend knowing you have the tools to enjoy it without undoing all your progress.
Imagine seeing a challenging week as a bump in the road rather than a reason to quit.
Imagine feeling supported, encouraged and accountable throughout your journey.
Because real success isn’t about being perfect. It's about continuing, even when life gets messy. And when you stop starting over every Monday, that’s often when the biggest transformations begin.
